This left Mama Jane alone in South Carolina while also recovering from cancer. Due to this, many fans have become more curious as to what Mama Jane has been up to and who takes care of her. Bringing Up Bates: Mama Jane Finishes Cancer Treatment
Last month, Kelly Jo took to social media to share major updates about Mama June’s cancer battle. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, Mama Jane has officially completed her final radiation treatment. It has been a difficult journey for Mama Jane, as the treatment takes so much of her strength. Fortunately, the Bates family never leaves Mama Jane’s side, especially after Papa Bill passed. Kelly Jo even shared a photo of Mama Jane looking so happy as she rings the bell at the hospital, indicating her completion of the treatment.
Gil & Kelly Jo Share Health Updates About Mama Jane
Gil Bates recently took to IG to share a new photo with his mother, Mama Jane, amid her long absence from the online world. Mama Jane can be seen with a big smile on her face as the Bates family visits her in South Carolina to celebrate the Fourth of July, which also happens to be Papa Bill’s birthday. Due to this, Gil and Kelly Jo made the holiday extra special at the farm.
Kelly Jo also said in the post that the farm will never be the same without Papa Bill. But they will never stop making memories, saying, “We miss you like crazy on this first birthday without you here! You’ll never be forgotten- on this day or any other! ❤️💙🤍” Many Bringing Up Bates fans also took to the comments section to share how happy they are to see Mama Jane.

Aside from the Fourth of July, Kelly Jo Bates also took to IG to share another one of their family trips over the past few months. It was their quick trip to Washington and Alaska. One of the photos shows Kelly Jo and Gil standing on a massive bridge beside a river. Callie, Lawson, and Tiffany also tagged along on the trip. Many Bringing Up Bates fans were also surprised to see how big Callie has become.
