Bringing Up Bates star Josie Bates Balka has been relishing every moment with her newborn son, Miles. The 24-year-old mom previously took to social media to share some of her baby boy’s first experiences, including their first outdoor trip as a family of five. The proud mother likes to share clips and pictures of her daughters taking care of their baby brother as well. Recently, Josie celebrated Miles’ latest milestone as he turned one month old. Bringing Up Bates: What Is Josie Bates Up To Today?
Josie has been living her best life since bringing home baby Miles. The Bringing Up Bates star had to stay at the hospital for almost a week to watch over her newborn. Baby Miles underwent UV light therapy to get rid of bilirubin, which could lead to serious complications when left untreated, such as brain damage or even death. Fortunately, Miles was a warrior and is now doing great.
Josie also revealed that she’s been dealing with postpartum depression. However, her husband, Kelton Balka, has been making extra efforts to keep her happy. One of which is making a menu consisting of incredible recipes that he will cook for his wife.
Josie Celebrates One Month Of Baby Miles
In an Instagram post, Josie shared a heartwarming clip of Miles as he turns one month old. “Details I want to remember,” the Bringing Up Bates star captioned, as she recorded every angle of her baby boy, knowing that it’s only a matter of time before he grows bigger. Bringing Up Bates: Josie Bates Shares Zoo Day With Baby Miles & Family
Josie Bates Balka also took to IG to share a clip from their recent zoo day. The Bringing Up Bates star went to a zoo with Lydia, Trace, and their son, Ryker. Meanwhile, Josie has her two daughters helping her with baby Miles as Kelton couldn’t make it to the trip. Some fans were also impressed by her ability to go on a trip with three little kids, especially at a zoo.
