Counting On alum Josh Duggar is getting much attention following his latest move amid his imprisonment. The 35-year-old was arrested in April 2022 for CSAM charges. He’s presently serving 12.5 years in jail. But the oldest Duggar child and his team continue to make efforts in the hopes of turning over his case. Keep reading to see Josh’s latest petition.
Counting On: Josh Duggar’s Appeals Continue To Get Rejected
In October 2023, Josh and his legal team reportedly filed an appeal to overturn the verdict in his CSAM case. However, it was reported that the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has denied the Counting On alum’s requests. Because of this, he will continue to serve his prison sentence until October 2032. But it seems that Josh is still hoping to convince the law by filing another petition.
Josh Shocks In Latest Petition
Some Redditors discussed Josh’s latest petition, which he filed on February 21. According to the poster, the Counting On alum filed a certiorari to the Supreme Court. It’s a request to have a higher court review a decision made by a lower court. But some people think Josh Duggar and his dad, Jim Bob, are just wasting money. Many were also surprised to see the former TLC star argue that he should be allowed to blame Caleb Williams as an alternate suspect.

Counting On: How’s Josh Duggar’s Wife Anna & Their Children?
Anna has been keeping a private life since her husband’s conviction. She hasn’t been participating in some of the Duggar family’s get-togethers. However, she was last seen at her grandfather’s funeral last November. Many were also surprised to see how big her kids have become. But some people noticed that the former Counting On star is looking much happier today.
There have been reports that Anna Duggar is not on good terms with some of the Duggar kids who don’t take Josh’s side, though it’s believed that she’s still living with the supersized family in Tontitown, Arkansas.
