The manhunt for Brian Laundrie continues as the Petito family waits for justice. Gabby Petito was found deceased in Wyoming and was laid to rest a week ago. Her fiance, Laundrie, has not cooperated with law enforcement regarding her disappearance and now homicide. He became missing himself just a few days before Gabby’s body was discovered. Today, Petito’s mother spoke out for the first time on social media since her daughter was found murdered.

Nichole Schmidt went to Twitter on Saturday to share her thoughts. She said, “Mama bear is getting angry! Turn yourself in! @josephpetitoagrees. #justiceforgabby #americasdaughter.” She also included a red angry face emoji.
Joseph Petito retweeted the message to Brian Laundrie. He also asked supporters to follow Gabby’s mom.

She then retweeted a tweet from Gabby’s stepmother, Tara Petito. Nichole also retweeted a childhood photo shared by her husband and Gabby’s stepdad, Jim Schmidt.
The country continues to search for Brian Laundrie
Gabby Petito has brought attention to domestic violence. The family hopes her death will continue to help others in violent relationships. Brian Laundrie is still on the run. Dog the Bounty Hunter is on the case as well trying to bring Laundrie in alive and well to answer questions about Petito.
Dog has had thousands of tips sent in from supporters and has said at least 20% of them are good leads. He believes Laundrie to still be alive and on the run from authorities. Laundrie has been missing since September 17 just two days before Gabby’s body was found.

There are multiple groups being formed on social media to help in the search for Laundrie and justice for Gabby Petito. One tweet shared identifying markings on Laundrie that anyone searching should look for. Other groups are praying for justice for the young travel blogger.
