Sister Wives star Kody Brown must be used to the trolls by now, after all, they hopped on his back and seemed to stay there from day one. Even today, those trolls seem to appear as news about the Sister Wives patriarch surfaces online. The same seems to hold true when Kody Brown stays behind the scenes as well.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Between a Rock and Hard Place?
The latest dilemma surrounding the Sister Wives father today seems to fall under an old saying. You know, the one that says, your damned if you do and your damned if you don’t. It seems that Kody Brown had a choice to make and either way he decided to go, he probably wouldn’t have staved off the trolls.
Christine Brown recently flew to New Jersey with a few of her kids. This Sister Wives’ mother basically moved into her sister’s house in New Jersey with the kids while she visited that state.
Some fans thought Christine opted for a vacation while the nation is on a stay-at-home lockup. They hopped online to bash her. Many asked how she dares to take her kids on a vacation during a pandemic. Then the slamming started. But then Christine revealed why she flew into New Jersey to stay with her sister.
Trolls Hop from Christine Brown to Kody Brown Pointing Blame
Ysabell had her surgery for scoliosis last week. Christine Brown reports it was a success and her daughter is fine. But she needed to fly into New Jersey as the surgeon is in that area who did the procedure for the Sister Wives teen.
Once she got there, they all had to quarantine for two weeks prior to that surgery. Now Christine Brown is there with Ysabel recuperating.
So, the trolls backed off Christine and turned their anger to the Sister Wives patriarch. Now Kody is in the dog house with some of the followers of the show.
How dare he let this Sister Wives mom go through this major surgery with Ysabel alone? The trolls ask why he couldn’t be for his daughter. So today Kody Brown has the negative comments aimed at him and fans seem to sympathize with Christine Brown, as the only parent there.
Sister Wives: Polygamy Sometimes Too Crowded?
So it looks like the Sister Wives polygamy lifestyle offers some downfalls. In order for Kody to be there at the hospital for Ysabel, he couldn’t just fly down the day before the surgery. He would have had to quarantine in New Jersey for two weeks prior to the surgery.
With three other wives and about a dozen kids still at home, Kody couldn’t leave everyone for that long of a time. So, while polygamy allows him, four wives, in this case, it didn’t allow him the time to support one of them.
But when it really boils down to it, Ysabel is the one who gets the short end of the polygamy stick. Through no fault of her own, she couldn’t have her father there with her while going through major surgery.
