90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star Big Ed starts to feel very sorry for himself after Rose gives him the old heave-ho because of his behavior. But he doesn’t believe she means to do this. It seems as far as he’s concerned – how could she ever want to dump Big Ed?
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – Rose Not that Desperate
Does this American have a tainted mindset about this woman living in an impoverished country? Does he think she won’t give up all he has to offer her and keep her pride?
If that’s the case then he’s in for a shock. It’s almost like Ed doesn’t worry about losing Rose because she’s desperate to make a better life for her son. So, was this his safeguard for keeping his 90 Day Fiance partner in place?
If that’s what Ed was thinking, Rose has a rude awakening for him. No matter what this American man is selling, she’s not buying and the 90 Day Fiance viewers applaud her.
Maybe after Ed got a look at where his 90 Day Fiance lived he felt reassured she’d never want to stay if she had a way out. So the impoverished living conditions that Rose endured might have offered Big Ed a false sense of security.
Big Ed Wallows In a False Sense of Security?
So, maybe it was a false sense of security that allowed this 90 Day Fiance celeb to treat her so awful. Whatever his excuse, Rose might be poor and living in squalor but she’s got pride. That pride won’t allow her to let Ed continue to demean and belittle her.
Another woman might grin and bear his rudeness with dreams of a lavish life at the end of her torment. But not Rose, she tells Ed she’s done. For a few seconds, Ed plays the martyr. He says, “so you think I am bad”. What Rose said next shocked Ed. She said “yes,” she does think he’s a bad person.
It seems Ed doesn’t believe this as the storms away from the table after she breaks it off with him. It’s as if he’s having a hissy-fit. He thinks all he needs to do is give Rose a little time to calm down. But the joke is on him as she’s already changing her flight to go home. Soon the reality hits him that Rose left him for good.
90 Day Fiance: A Woman With Pride
Rose Vega is a star in her own right and she could teach some of the 90 Day Fiance past and present women a lesson or two. Ed did nothing but attempt to mold Rose into an image he had in his head.
The followers of this TLC reality show accused Big Ed of going to the Philippines and grooming this young woman for his own pleasure. Ed used the excuse of teaching Rose some hygiene skills, but the fans saw right through him.
So, it’s Rose who gets the last laugh on Ed. She’s done with him and his demeaning ways. Of course, Ed can’t believe she would dump him, but she does.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days airs new episodes Sunday at 8 pm EST on TLC.
