Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Bates Webster is back on social media to answer several fan questions. The 29-year-old mom likes to interact with her social media followers. She and her husband, John, have been actively uploading YouTube vlogs as well. The mother of five previously spent days in her grandparents’ house without her husband and daughters. Alyssa also left many in awe after sharing her interactions with her grandmother, Jane Bates, who’s mostly known as Mama Jane. Bringing Up Bates: Alyssa Bates Commended For Her Efforts For Grandparents

In a YouTube post, Alyssa revealed that she’s flying to South Carolina with her son, Rhett. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, it was a bittersweet moment as she got separated from her husband and daughters. However, she’s glad that she won’t be driving over nine hours to her grandparents’ house. Later in the vlog, Alyssa said that Mama Jane and Papa Bill were sick. Their illness wasn’t revealed during the video. But some believe that the two are going to need more visits from their grandchildren due to their age.

Moments later, Alyssa revealed that she had cleaned the entire house of her grandparents. She also cooked for them during her stay, leaving many Redditors impressed.

Alyssa also took to IG Stories to answer a question regarding the origin of Jane Bates’ nickname, “Mama Jane.” According to the Bringing Up Bates star, Mama Jane was very young when Gil and Kelly Jo got married and began to have kids. Due to this, she felt like being called a grandmother would make her feel old, which is why she agreed with being called Mama Jane instead. Since then, every member of the Bates family has begun to call her Mama Jane. Alyssa Bates Webster added that Mama Jane doesn’t mind being called that way and likes it.

Alyssa also shared some updates about her family during her latest Q&A. She confirmed that her daughters would be doing swim lessons again like they did last year. The Bringing Up Bates star also said that she’s been enjoying having John work at home, but they’ve been struggling to keep the kids away from his office. Furthermore, Alyssa Bates Webster revealed that she’s been missing Tennessee, especially during the fall season.
