7-Year-Old Autistic Boy Dead Weeks Before Reported Missing
A seven-year-old autistic boy from Ohio had died weeks before he was reported missing. On July 12th, it came out that Hershall Creachbaum was MIA. Allegedly, it was reported that he had been kidnapped, and added that he utilizes a wheelchair and is non-verbal. Therefore, if someone wanted to ask him anything, they would be unable to. Yet, within hours of the report, the remains believed to belong to Hershall were found. Then, on Monday, July 14th, two days after he was reported missing and found, some more disturbing news emerged. Hershall had been dead long before anything was reported.
Hershall was likely dead for weeks, and his mother became the prime suspect. Ashley Johnson was arrested for obstructing justice and not reporting the death of her son. She was not the only one arrested. A man named Michael Kendrick was also taken into custody. His charges are tampering with evidence and abusing a corpse. Michael was the one who called the authorities, but one thing has been made clear. This will not be a simple investigation. As more evidence turns up, the charges could mount against Michael and Ashley. To add to this, Hershall was not an only child.
He also had a sister who was living with him and his mother, who has now been removed from the home with child services serving as the responsible party. The cause of death has not been revealed, and it may take some time to get to the bottom of it. Hershall went missing along with his wheelchair, and this has taken a tragic turn in many ways. Anyone who has heard of this story is sickened by what people are capable of. They cannot believe that a child was subject to something so cruel.
It Defies Comprehension
Many have heard about this poor spirit and have a lot to say regarding the situation. It has been brought up that the fact that Hershall was autistic is even more unnerving. Furthermore, some wondered how the mother thought the death would be covered up. She had to have known an autopsy would happen and prove this was not an overnight incident:
- Who would kidnap a child with a disability? Do these people take at least a few minutes to think this over, smh.
- Also, they didn’t think about the autopsy, which showed he had been dead a couple weeks. I don’t thought everyone watched forensic files.
It will be interesting to see what comes up from more testing and questioning. Hopefully, whoever did this will pay a hefty price.
