400 Dead Bodies Thrown Around After Crematorium Nightmare
Almost 400 dead bodies were found thrown around in a crematorium nightmare. This twisted turn of events went down in Mexico, and it was a scene out of a horror film. So, why did this happen, and how was it ultimately discovered? Keep reading for more details.
400 Dead Bodies Thrown Around & Discarded
When someone passes, the funeral home or crematorium is entrusted to take good care of the deceased. Sadly, corpse crimes are becoming more prevalent and problematic. Such was the case at the crematorium in Ciudad Juárez, when nearly 400 dead bodies were found strewn everywhere. They had been completely disregarded, and now, the owner of Plenitud, as well as an employee, were arrested. This came after a report led authorities to check out Plenitud, which catered to many of the local funeral homes. On June 26th, 2025, police headed over and saw 383 deceased and embalmed bodies.
They were stacked in various rooms and discarded all around the crematorium. Aside from trying to understand why this all went down, authorities had to identify the genders of the deceased. They then had to contact all of the families who could have been involved and inform them of the dire situation. Fortunately, some bodies came from hospitals, so they had names attached. As of now, 218 have been identified as male, 149 are female, and 16 remain unknown. Aside from this nightmare and the blatant disrespect for the bodies, the families now have reopened wounds.
They likely made peace with the fact that their loved one had passed away. However, they now have to face the fact that their late family member and friend was thrown around. Another issue is the monetary loss that some families may have faced through this. It is not only emotional but also financial, and that needs to be rectified immediately. The two who were arrested are remaining behind bars for the time being, and the hope is that they can get the highest punishment. Currently, there is no rhyme or reason for this happening.
Fear Spreads
Upon learning of this crematorium nightmare, many followers had an increased fear. They stated that they did not want to pass away in Mexico based on how this all went down. One person pointed out everything that went wrong and what the charges should be:
- Fraud: crematorium charged $$ for cremating bodies which weren’t cremated, saving $$$ on the service and giving fake ash to the clients/families. Criminal/Cartel: the monsters used this business to dispose of bodies, but instead of being cremated the business saved the cash and buried them in their facilities.
Others noted that this will likely turn into a streaming documentary, while another pointed out this is not exclusive to Mexico. They shared that this was a big problem in America during the pandemic. It was also cited that if bodies were returned in urns, they were likely fake. So, what was the ultimate goal? Time will tell, but this is horrid and tragic.
