Georgia Teen Murders Parents, Uses Social Media To Hide Evidence
A Georgia teen and influencer attempted to utilize social media to hide any and all evidence after allegedly murdering her parents. She put on a show for her followers so they would not get suspicious, but that backfired. Keep reading for more details.
Georgia Teen Hides Parents’ Murders Via Social Media
Social media has taken over, and being an influencer is what many people are attempting to be. They want to use their format to make a quick buck while gaining notoriety. Sometimes it works, and other times, it fails, but in the case of Sarah Grace Patrick, she used it for evil. Sarah had been a prominent member of the TikTok community, and her account has been rebuilt amid tragedy. When she was just sixteen years old, Sarah’s mother and stepfather were killed. Kristin Brock, 41, and James Brock, 45, were murdered, and afterward, Sarah took to her social media.
She shared images of herself crying as she headed to their funeral, and seemed to be grieving the loss. The Georgia teen had everyone convinced that she was a lost child, without any family. She begged the community for prayers and healing. However, that was all a lie. After she shared a eulogy, it seemed that she may have been linked to the death of her parents. In one post, she wrote this over a photo of her mom and stepdad:
“They don’t know it, but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister would find them wrongfully shot dead in our home – and they won’t get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the aisle, or even say goodbye.”
The Georgia couple was killed as they slept, and Sarah made it seem like she would never recover from the pain. Yet, she was the one who called the authorities after she and her little sister found their parents deceased. Moreover, it did not appear that anyone forced their way into the home, and a true crime social media star claimed Sarah contacted them. She wanted the story covered, which was odd.
Finally Arrested
After the texts between Sarah Grace Patrick and the true crime influencer were leaked, it looked like the Georgia teen had more to do with the killings than she claimed. She has since turned herself in with the help of her biological father. As of now, the seventeen-year-old is being charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault. Her TikTok was disabled, but someone has since taken over to re-upload her content. It has over 10K followers as this case has grown. After learning about this tragedy, people spoke out about how sick and twisted it was:
