Remains Of TikTok Influencer China Baby Found Chopped In Pieces

The remains of TikTok influencer China Baby have recently surfaced after the teenager had previously gone missing. According to reports, the influencer’s remains were found in pieces, clogging up a water plant. Since then, a few theories have come out concerning the TikTok star’s death. Notably, the influencer, who had over 5,000 followers on TikTok, was previously connected to an unsolved 2022 death.

China Baby’s Remains Were Found A Few Days Following Her Sharing Her Latest TikTok Video

Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Piña was known to followers on TikTok through the alias “China Baby.” At one point, she reached around 5,000 followers on the platform. In addition to her social media career, she was also known for working at a nightclub in Lima Norte.

Tragically, the influencer’s remains were recently found during a routine inspection of a water plant in Lima, Peru. Piña, who had previously gone missing, was around 19 years old at the time.

Reportedly, Piña’s remains were found clogging up a river’s filtration grid. Her body was heavily mutilated. According to Panamericana, her remains were able to be identified through distinctive tattoos. This included one reading “Paula Sophia,” complete with a date.

According to Infobae, Piña’s remains were found on June 9, 2025. This took place around four days after she shared her last video on social media. Reportedly, some of her body parts are believed to still be missing.

At the time the remains were found, the Ministry of the Interior also issued a statement concerning the find. As it read, “Minister Carlos Malaver, through the National Police Command, ordered the immediate intervention of a specialized team to investigate the causes of death of the citizen, who has not yet been identified.”

Various Theories Have Come Out Concerning What Could Have Led To China Baby’s Tragic End

According to local police confirmed that the nature of Piña’s death brought to mind methods associated with human traffickers. Reportedly, these methods are known to be carried out when victims try to escape from them. However, the crime is still under investigation by the Peruvian National Police.

At this time, no suspects have been named in the investigation. In addition, there is also some speculation that Piña could have been targeted as she was a foreigner to the area, being a native of Venezuela.

Piña had previously moved to Peru as a minor with her then-boyfriend, Meiner Jimenez Castillo. As noted by La Republica, Castillo was found dead by suicide. His family had long accused Piña of being connected to his death. Allegedly, Castillo’s family had harassed her on social media networks concerning his passing.
