Colorado Man Repeatedly Tried To Kidnap Girl From Grandma
A Colorado man repeatedly attempted to kidnap an eight-year-old girl while she was out with her grandma on Saturday, June 21st. A grandmother and her granddaughter were shopping at Littleton Safeway. That was when Bradley Mikel Wilson, 34, showed up and wanted to “borrow” the little girl. Allegedly, Bradley asked:
“Could I borrow your child?”
He then attempted to walk out with her, but she was quick to get away and go back to her grandma. Grandma screamed at Bradley after he took her granddaughter the first time. Despite leaving the situation, Bradley was relentless and came back again.
He had left the store for a short time, but then reappeared and went after the girl again. This time, the employees screamed at Bradley as they called the authorities. Unfortunately, he officially fled the scene and the store, which was a struggle. Luckily, the police found him later on in the day, and he was promptly arrested. He headed to jail, where he would face a judge on Monday, June 23rd, for charges of 2nd degree kidnapping. Both the grandma and the little girl were examined to make sure that they were okay. Everything was fine with them, but undoubtedly a little shaken up.
It is unclear why this Colorado man was targeting the eight-year-old girl. More so, it has not been revealed why he did not just stay out of the Safeway after his first attempt. It seems he may have wanted to get caught or was rushed out by the challenge. Many who have learned about this story have a lot of questions. One is why the store did not do more in the first place. They felt that more action should have been taken to prevent Bradley from returning again.
A Terrifying Encounter
Although many followers wondered why the Colorado Safeway did not do more for the little girl, they also expressed how terrifying this must have been. Moreover, they could not imagine how the girl and her grandmother felt when Bradley Mikel Wilson tried not once but twice. Some people chimed in and said that they had been through something similar when they were young. Others were just shocked and wanted the worst for Bradley:

Hopefully, the little girl gets the help that she needs to feel safe again. Finally, it will be interesting to see what happens to this man in Colorado.
