Most men know that women can flip a switch at the drop of a hat. Some things just don’t sit right with the ladies and are big turn-offs. Here are ten of those things and what men can do to avoid them.

  1. One of the biggest turn-offs for women is lack of communication. Not having good communication creates emotional barriers. It’s important to talk to each other about issues and everyday life. Not doing this can put big distance between you and your partner.
  2. Don’t brag! Women do not like it when men brag about themselves and the things they possess.
  3. Ignoring your special lady can be a huge turn-off. Women do not like to be ignored. Doing this will quickly land you on their bad side. This also goes back to good communication skills. Talk things through rather than ignoring her.
  4. A man who doesn’t take care of himself is also a big turn-off. Good personal hygiene is a must for everyone, but if you are trying to impress a special someone, take pride in yourself and clean up.
  5. Another biggie is lying. Women want a man who is honest. Knowing you were dishonest is a big turn-off that could land you in the dog house.
  6. Never compare your lady to another woman. This is a big no-no. It shows you are not happy with who she is and indicates you have a wandering mind. You should appreciate the woman that she is and not compare her to someone else, whether it be online or perhaps an ex.
  7. Bad manners are a quick way to turn her off. Nobody wants to be out in public with a man who decides it’s okay to pick his nose in front of the world. It’s not only disgusting, it’s rude. Showing good manners, on the other hand, will get you more bonus points with her.
  8. Acting as if you are only interested in how she looks is also a big red flag. A woman does not want to be with a man who does not appreciate all of her. Just focusing on looks alone is not a good look to have. Most likely, she has so much more to offer than just a pretty face.
  9. Not doing your fair share of housework can also be a big turn-off. Nobody wants the weight of the world or household chores on their shoulders. Be a man and step up to the plate to help her keep things running smoothly in the household.
  10. Another big turn-off is being lazy. Don’t be a couch potato 24/7. Get up and be active, show her you have ambitions and dreams to fulfill. Also, don’t put off those honey-do lists she gave you.

There are lots of ways to avoid turning off the special woman in your life. These are just ten, but there are many more. Just be aware of your behavior and actions. A little common sense and a caring attitude can go a long way.
