Bringing Up Bates star Kelly Jo Bates is back with exciting updates about her newest grandchild, Weston Slade Smith. Tori and Bobby Smith welcomed their fifth child on May 29, 2024. Bringing Up Bates: Tori Bates & Bobby Smith Continue To Stay Silent Online
Tori is one of the few daughters of Gil and Kelly Jo to shy away from the limelight. The Bringing Up Bates star’s last IG post was from December 2022, when she went on a beach vacation with Bobby. The reason behind the married couple’s absence on social media remains a mystery. But there are speculations that Tori decided to leave the online world due to the negativity and the rumors that Bobby cheated on her with single moms at their church. However, others believe that Tori was just not a social media person. But despite her absence, the 28-year-old mom still appears in family photos and vlogs.
Kelly Jo Shares New Photos Of Baby Weston
In an Instagram post, Kelly Jo shares a clip featuring new photos of Tori’s fifth child, Weston. The baby boy was visited by members of the Bates family, such as Josie and Erin. Michaela and Brandon have also spent time with baby Weston. According to Kelly Jo, they’ve been busy celebrating the arrival of Weston. She also admitted getting so busy that she forgot to take photos from Weston’s bonding time with his other aunts and uncles.

“But he’s enjoying plenty of hugs & cuddles and we’re all soaking in the bliss of all of his baby cuteness! (Thanks Michael for snapping some family pics of Tori & Bobby with Weston and all the kids!)” she added. Kelly Jo Bates also told a fan that Weston is her 29th grandchild, with three more coming this year. The Bringing Up Bates star also received positive comments from fans.

Kelly Jo and Gil have also been making extra efforts to keep all of their children in touch. Recently, Lydia and Trace uploaded a vlog featuring the Bates family’s get-together. The boys played basketball while the rest of the family played card games indoors.
Lydia Bates also showed her sporty side after playing tennis with some of her in-laws. The vlog ended with the Bringing Up Bates stars cleaning up after dinner. Trace also shared a glimpse of his parents looking so happy after spending a day with their children.
