In a YouTube vlog, Katie discussed their decision to move to Tennessee. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, they’re looking forward to renting a house in Knoxville, while Travis commutes to Nashville to pursue a music career. The two also revealed that they’re going to move by the end of March. Since then, the married couple has been sharing the progress of their preparations. Katie has sold many of their belongings, including her old car, which they will replace with an SUV. She has also let go of Hailey’s nursery set. The 11th Bates child added that she may be around her sisters’ businesses a little more as well.
Katie Shares Big Updates On Relocation
In an IG Stories post, Katie shared clips of herself packing up and cleaning their New Jersey house. The Bringing Up Bates star previously revealed that they’ll be putting up their home for rentals, and it seems that they’re setting it up to make it look more presentable to clients. In one of her clips, Katie Bates Clark revealed that she’s putting some of her clothes in the box as someone from FB is coming to pick up their bedroom set.
She also added that they’re checking out their new place in Tennessee soon before buying anything. Moments later, Katie shared another clip of herself clarifying that they’re keeping their New Jersey home and that the tenants will move in next week.

Katie also took to IG Stories to share pictures of their empty house ahead of their relocation. The Bringing Up Bates star can be seen sitting in the middle of the living room with her daughter, Hailey. According to her, it was an awkward moment because they were still living in the house while packing up.
