Counting On alum Jackson Duggar is one of the rarely-seen sons of Michelle and Jim Bob. However, he’s often present at family gatherings and other special occasions. The 19-year-old is still living with his parents. He has also been active in their church and hasn’t been vocal about the recent issues revolving around the supersized family. The 15th Duggar child has already made big milestones in life. But it seems he’s prioritizing his spirituality despite turning to the age where he can start courting. Counting On: Jackson Duggar Has Been Active At Church
In July 2023, Jackson made headlines after several photos of himself participating in church plays surfaced online. Some of the pictures show how passionate he is about acting and telling stories based on the Bible. It also explains the former Counting On alum’s online absence, similar to Jason Duggar, who’s been strengthening his faith by studying the Bible and avoiding social media activities. The siblings haven’t shown any signs of interest in courtship as well.
Jackson’s Academic Status
Jackson graduated from high school through homeschooling this year, along with his sister, Johannah. According to Jim Bob and Michelle, their son is an avid reader and is always looking for new ways to pursue knowledge and personal growth. It was also revealed that he invested a lot of time helping others regarding their spirituality.
Jackson Duggar has also been involved in various volunteer activities and services. He also has a hobby of deer hunting, just like his older siblings. The Counting On alum has yet to enter the field of real estate, which has been one of the biggest businesses of his father.
Counting On: Jackson Duggar Worries Fans
In April 2022, Counting On fans were shocked after Jackson was spotted in ALERT, which is a behavioral camp his disgraced brother, Josh, attended. The camp’s official website states that they’re a mix of Christian discipleship, community service, and career training. However, there have been speculations that attending ALERT is a way of punishment in the Duggar household. An insider also claimed that multiple Duggars have been sent to the camp due to their struggles growing up.
At this point, Jackson Duggar remains low-profile on social media. But his family can’t seem to escape the spotlight due to their recent controversies. Jim Bob and Michelle are currently dealing with criticisms after the release of Jill’s book, “Counting The Cost.” The title features explosive allegations regarding their bad parenting as well as the questionable teachings of the IBLP.
