Missing Teen Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Farias Found Alive 8 Years Later
It was on March 6, 2015, when a Houston, Texas teenager named Rudolph “Rudy” Farias vanished while he was walking his dogs. He was 17 years old at the time. Now, at the age of 25, Rudy has been found eight years after vanishing. And, he’s alive.
Per a tweet from the Texas Center for the Missing, Rudy was found alive over the weekend.
“After 8 long years, Rudy has been located safe. Please continue to keep his family in your prayers as Rudy recovers in the hospital.”

Speaking to ABC13 News on the phone, Rudy’s mother explained that 911 was called after he was found unresponsive outside of a church. Rudolph “Rudy” Farias’ body was covered in bruises and cuts. There was blood in his hair. His mother told the media outlet she suspected her son had been beaten and abused.
The 17-year-old was reportedly walking his dogs near Tidwell and Park Drive when he vanished. He was reported missing when his family recovered the dogs, but could not find him anywhere.
In 2015 when Rudy vanished, it was reported that he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. Authorities at the time asked for the public to help with locating the missing team as he hadn’t been taking any of his medication. So, it was possible he was disoriented. On March 10th, the search for the teen was suspected while authorities gathered more information on the situation. On March 12, just two days later, the search resumed. Sadly, however, it only lasted another day before ending.

On March 13th, a statement was issued by authorities thanking all of the volunteers for their assistance in helping to look for the missing teenager.
At this time, no information has been made public regarding whether Rudolph “Rudy” Farias disappeared voluntarily or if something happened to him. It, however, was apparent that something bad happened to him prior to being discovered considering the condition he was found in.

His family is asking for privacy during this time as Rudy recovers at the hospital. While his mother was heartbroken by the condition he was found in, she was just happy he was found.
