Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been thrust into the limelight once again and it is not a TLC show. Controversy is nothing new for the Duggar parents. It’s been two years since their son, Josh Duggar, got arrested for CSAM, which also got their reality show canceled. Since then, the married couple has maintained a low profile. Due to this, Counting On fans are curious about what they’ve been up to. Recently a negative documentary about the church they belong to was released. The worst part is two of their daughters were featured in it.
Counting On: Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Continue To Host Gatherings
There have been several leaks regarding some Duggar gatherings that most people do not know about. One of which was when they celebrated Christmas Eve last year. Some Duggars have also shared pictures from their recent gatherings, including rare sightings of their parents. Due to this, Counting On fans started to believe that the conservative couple is still hosting get-togethers privately.
Jim Bob & Michelle’s Continue The Welcoming Tradition
Counting On fans have also spotted Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar multiple times welcoming their newborn grandkids. It’s clear that they’re still doing the tradition of being there whenever someone is about to give birth. Joy-Anna Forsyth’s delivery vlog also shows Jim Bob carrying his newborn grandson for the first time with a big smile on his face. At this point, there are currently no pregnancies announced in the family. But there are speculations that Jessa Seewald may be expecting due to her long online absence.
Counting On: Will They Ever Get Back On TV?
TLC has yet to confirm if the large controversial family will return to TV. Although some fans recall their past returns after facing some controversy regarding Josh as well. According to reports, the oldest Duggar son had molested four of his sisters, as well as a babysitter, back in 2015. They came back with a different show called, Counting On, which was later canceled due to Josh’s CSAM case. The disgraced son is currently imprisoned in Seagoville, Texas. In addition to that, reports claimed that his wife, Anna Duggar, was planning to move to Texas in order to get closer to him. But the 35-year-old convict thinks it’s a bad idea, as she may end up thinking about leaving him for good.
There are several suggestions about a possible Duggar spinoff. One of them is a new reality show focusing more on the Duggar kids who no longer live with their parents, such as Jinger, Jill, Joy-Anna, and Justin.
