The season finale of Sister Wives featured a lot of problems inside the polygamous family. The season also ended with a lot of unfixed issues. Meanwhile, Kody Brown raised a lot of eyebrows during the season finale. One of which is his suggestion of refusing to attend his daughter Ysabel’s back surgery. Apparently, Kody wanted everyone to stay at home due to the raging Covid-19. However, Ysabel is suffering from severe pain and needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible. Due to this, a lot of fans got furious as Kody doesn’t seem to care for his daughter at all.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Slammed For Suggesting Ysabel Should Undergo Back Surgery Alone
During the season finale of Sister Wives, Christine Brown revealed that her daughter Ysabel Brown has been suffering from back pain. After that, Christine said that her daughter needs to travel to New Jersey for her back surgery. However, Kody Brown shocked the viewers after revealing that he doesn’t want to go with his daughter. According to him, he’d prefer everyone to stay to avoid any exposure to the virus. However, not everyone is happy with his suggestion.
Fans from Reddit also discussed Kody’s suggestions not to go to Ysabel’s surgery. “I have chronic back pain, and not only can’t she go through the surgery alone, she can’t fly alone because I doubt she can handle her damn suitcase!”, one fan said. “I hate Kody so much, he deserves to rot in his mansion with Robyn while Christine finds someone who actually loves her”, another fan added.
Christine Is Not Happy About Kody’s Suggestion
Sister Wives star Christine Brown also revealed that she’s very disappointed with Kody Brown’s suggestions. “Ridiculous and stupid”, Christine said. Ysabel Brown also cried after learning that she might go through everything alone. However, Christine made it clear that she won’t leave her daughter. The season finale also showed Christine almost giving up on her marriage to Kody. Fortunately, she was comforted by Meri Brown, who’s also struggling with her relationship with Kody for years.
Sister Wives: Ysabel Celebrates Her Mother’s Birthday
The season finale of Sister Wives also aired during the birthday of Christine Brown. In a social media post, Ysabel Brown shared a lengthy birthday message for her mother. She thanked Christine for everything she’s done for her and said that she’s her favorite person. “I wouldn’t be the person I am today without your loving nature and beautiful soul”, Ysabel added.
Meanwhile, Ysabel did not mention her father in her lengthy post. Some fans think that she’s still irritated with her father due to his suggestion of leaving her alone during her surgery. Ysabel’s back surgery was successful. In a social media post, she even teased that she’s now looking for a job as she finally feels better.
