Another baby is on the way! Pippa Middleton Matthews is expecting her second child with husband James Matthews. The couple already has a son, Arthur. He is already 2-years-old. Pippa and James are thrilled to expand their family. Of course, everyone who follows the royal family knows Pippa to be the younger sister to Kate Middleton. So, what details have emerged about Pippa’s second pregnancy?

Page Six shared the exciting news about Pippa expecting. The baby will be a new cousin for Kate’s three children with husband Prince William — Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and 2-year-old Prince Louis.
A source close to the Matthews says, “Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted.” No news of her due date has been announced.
Recent reports say Pippa and James are close to buying a new home in Berkshire. The new home sits on a 72 acre country estate called Bucklebury Farm Park. And, the property is not too far from the Middleton homestead.
Christmas plans for the Middleton’s
There is no definite word on how Pippa and James will spend the holidays. Even Prince William and Kate Middleton are struggling to decide how to proceed with the holidays. The strict COVID restrictions in the United Kingdom are creating somewhat of a debacle for the royal family. Prince William had said, “It is so difficult, we are still trying to make plans. It’s difficult to know what to do for the best.”
Queen Elizabeth has already said she will not be welcoming the family to Sandringham as she has in the past. She will remain at Windsor Castle for the holiday season.
With the restrictions in place, it is unclear if Kate will be able to see her own family during the Christmas season. She is very close with her parents, brother and Pippa. It has been difficult to not see them throughout the pandemic.
Pippa and James Matthews
Pippa married James in 2017. They wed at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield. They welcomed their son Arthur in October 2018. Pippa promoted staying fit during her first pregnancy. She stayed active during pregnancy number one and continued her Waitrose Weekend fitness column by sharing how little Arthur is following in her footsteps by attending a baby gym.
No doubt Pippa will continue to be active with her second pregnancy as well. The couple has yet to comment officially about the pregnancy news.
