90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days spawned Big Ed, who fans believe went to the Philippines and used his grooming techniques on Rose but called this love. Within a short amount of time, Ed managed to rack up plenty of negative comments from the show’s viewers.
Now despite several attempts at damage control, it seems Big Ed can’t manage to smooth things over. In the land of politics, this would leave Big Ed washed up. But in the world of 90 Day Fiance, this puts Ed at the top.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – Big Ed to Follow Darcey Silva’s Footsteps
Just think of the past cast members that were bashed by the fans, like Darcey Silva, Jesse Meester. These two are no longer together but still, 90 Day Fiance stars on their own. The more drama they spin, the more longevity they enjoy as TLC stars. So what about Big Ed?

Big Ed attempted tons of damage control as soon as fans started calling him out for his treatment of Rose. It dawned on the 90 Day Fiance viewers that Ed’s journey didn’t look like love as much as it did about his own pleasure. So they said as much in their comments online.
Ed was born with Klippel-Fiell syndrome, this condition entails two of his neck vertebrae bones fusing. This condition caused the 90 Day Fiance celeb much teasing throughout his life.
Even some of the TLC show’s fans teased Ed due to the appearance that he has no neck. But the majority of fans supported Ed and cheered him on to find love with Rose. That is until they got a load of his disturbing way of doing this.
Rose Didn’t Know Any Better – Bad Call On Ed’s Part
Ed suggested Rose bathe before they became intimate, shave her legs, and then told her that her breath smells. He did this all in front of the camera.
Ed attempted to explain his actions as helping someone who didn’t know any better and got himself in more hot water. Rose is a bright and intelligent woman.
The fault lies within the poverty she was born into. She couldn’t afford the luxury of a razor to shave her legs. All Ed did was embarrass Rose, not help her.

These insults piled up and Rose finally put an end to it. She walked out on her 90 Day Fiance partner. Ironically now Ed’s new damage control has to do with bullying. He is starting a site to combat online bullying and the fans immediately saw the irony in this. Many saw Ed’s treatment of Rose as bullying.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – End of the Road for Big Ed?
While it looks as if Ed’s 90 Day Fiance time is up with Rose, does this mean he’s washed up on the show? Probably not. If by chance Rose decides to reconsider, they are great candidates for the spin-off shows.
If Rose doesn’t change her mind and she stays away from Ed for good, then Ed could do another round of Before the 90 Days. This time with a new love interest much like another fan favorite, Darcey Silva.
It seems the more controversy around the 90 Days Fiance cast members means more job security for them. Many fans called for TLC to pull Baby Girl Lisa off the show after she was accused of using a racial slur. That’s not going to happen.
It seems Lisa let it slip that she’s about to star in another spin-off, The Other Way. So even if the damage is done when it comes to Ed and Rose, there’s always a chance for Ed to reboot his fame on another 90 Day Fiance franchise show.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days airs new episodes Sunday at 8 pm EST on TLC.
