Big Ed Brown partakes in what might be his finest hour of disgrace while embarrassing Rose on the next 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days episode. This man continues his attempt at grooming Rose to the point of insulting his young girlfriend.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – Is Big Ed Grooming Rose?
This is a man who drips sweat in almost every 90 Day Fiance scene he’s in. But Rose acts very ladylike and seems to ignore this most of the time. Rose seems to know the golden rule but Ed does not. It goes something like this – if you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
Big Ed seems to have a fantasy about how he wants Rose to look, smell, and feel. He starts what looks like an attempt to mold her not long after he steps off the plane. Fans are still fuming over the 90 Day Fiance scene where he requests she take a bath.
Then he expects Rose to shave her legs, which fans saw as inappropriate on so many levels. But when he asked her to take that STD test, well it sealed the deal for many of the 90 Day Fiance fans.
It pretty much looked like Ed is watching out for himself and molding Rose into his fantasy partner. Some fans see this poor woman paying a high price for a chance to get out of the squalor and poverty.
But most of all she’s attempting to make a better life for her son. This is something Ed himself said a while back. He said people can’t fault her for that.

Ed doesn’t seem to take Rose’s culture or the poverty she emerges from into consideration. Her family lives in squalor and barely have enough to eat. But he expects her to keep her legs clean-shaven? Big Ed Brown doesn’t seem to have a clue about where Rose is coming from.
When this 54-year-old man first showed up on the 90 Day Fiance screen, fans took a shine to the guy. But once Big Ed appeared as a foreigner attempting his grooming-like antics with Rose for his pleasure, fans became disgusted.
Your Breath Smells…
So, if you thought his previous requests on 90 Day Fiance were sickening, wait until the next episode when it airs on Sunday night. While Rose might not realize this, Ed says, her breath smells. Then he lets her know that he finds this very undesirable.
His next step in this grooming-like ritual that he’s got going on backfires. Rose is infuriated and walks away embarrassed over what he’s said to her on camera.
This 90 Day Fiance celeb tells this young woman that he cares deeply about her. Therefore he is concerned about her health. He tells her she has bad breath and that could eventually affect her heart.
While Ed discusses his concern over her vital organs, fans can see his real agenda. He tells Rose about his concerns for her as he hands her mouthwash, a “cute” toothbrush, and real toothpaste.
Rose’s facial grimace says it all. The look of disgust suddenly takes over her face. She then flips the toothpaste he handed her onto the bed. Ed keeps asking her if she understands.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – Rose Sure Does Understand What Ed Is Saying
Sure she understands Ed, Rose probably understands just a little too much. Like the fans, it appears Rose knows his concerns are not focused on her organs becoming diseased because of tooth decay.
Rose says to the 90 Day Fiance camera that Ed is rude. She also said that she is embarrassed by what he just did. Rose collects herself just enough to tell Ed that it is not her teeth that give off the smell. Rose reveals that she has an ulcer.
Ed did not know this and while she’s making her way to the bathroom with her new oral hygiene products in hand, Ed repeats “I love you” a few times. While the fans feel Rose’s pain, she does get the last dig and it is a good one at that.

When Rose talks the 90 Day Fiance camera, word captions pop up on the screen. As Ed is saying “I love you,” Rose shoots off in her native language – “You’re ugly”. Ed doesn’t understand or speak the language of the Philippines so he’s left guessing. He hopes what Rose just said means “I love you too”.
No, it does not Ed, Rose just told you what she really thought of you. She said, “You’re ugly”. While under normal circumstances that might be mean, but chances are fans are going to find that Ed deserved this after telling her that her breath stinks.
It looks like Ed is going to have to grin it and bear it because from what Rose said, his gift of mouth products won’t do the trick. Her ulcer is causing the unpleasant odor he wants to go away. After that disgusting display, as the fans call it today – he deserves to have stinky breath in his face while he’s attempting the romance.

I saw a post where Rose said she could tolerate Ed’s looks and size because he is rich. In an earlier post she tells Ed she loves him and not for his money. They were both playing eachother.
