It looks like Big Ed planned his 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days relationship with great detail and now fans may know why he worried about first meeting Rose. Before parting for his trip to see Rose for the first time face-to-face, he was afraid she’d find out some of the things he said were a bit of a stretch.
The 90 Day Fiance followers wondered why Big Ed acted so nervous. He worried that the things he said would come back to haunt him. This confused fans until recently when photos of him circulated online. That’s because he made a slip while confirming it’s him in the photos.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days – Big Ed’s Masquerade?
Big Ed was a hunk at one time. The photos that swirl online of a young and buff guy back in 1988 seem to prove that. When those pictures first surfaced, the 90 Day Fiance celeb did confirm the pictures were indeed him.
But he didn’t know how they found their way to the world-wide-web. Then he made a guess of where they came from and that guess offers a clue as to what Ed might have been up to before he met Rose in person.

For one thing, there’s no disguising this man is in his 50 and decades older than Rose. For another, you can’t hide the fact that Big Ed could lose some weight. And while he’s a nice guy, he can’t hide his stature, which is under 5-feet.
So all this had to hit Rose when she first met him in person. Because up until then, it looks like Ed had a private Facebook account where he posted photos of himself from his younger and more buff days.
Big Ed Slips – Private Account
The only reason this came out was that this 90 Day Fiance star tried to figure out how these photos leaked. He then said they must have been taken from his “private” account. So if he kept a private account, it’s highly probable this was done for Rose’s sake.
Did Ed ever really mean to meet Rose in person? Or did this start out as an account where he could be who he wanted to be with women in other countries?
But maybe when he met Rose, that was it and this 90 Day Fiance future fiance was born. While he was a hottie back in the day, he’s probably not going to thrill the eyes of a 23-year-old woman today. That goes for a lot of men decades older than women in their 20s, not just Ed.

So if Rose only knew Ed through this private account this might explain his nervousness. Especially around meeting Rose for the first time in person. Big Ed is also a photographer so he knows a lot about cameras.

This 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star used filters and a ring-light when she talked to Zied. Rebecca used the ring light while face-timing Zied so she appeared younger. She once demonstrated how she did this and it did the trick, she cut years off her age. So, Zied really never knew what she looked like until they met face-to-face.
When Big Ed was worried about what Rose would think of his looks, fans figured she’d already seen him in a video chat so she had to expect he was no young guy. But maybe not. Did Ed use the same type of technology that Rebecca used?
Anyway, if Ed did use this “private” account where his hunky pictures came from to lure Rose that’s bad enough. But if he possibly disguised his real looks on facetime with a ring light, like Rebecca, then that’s a good reason to look nervous.
But that’s only speculation based on his behavior when first arriving in her native country. At one point he asked Rose if she was disappointed.
Fans liked Big Ed when he first showed up on 90 Day Fiance. But once he met Rose and spent some time with her, fans’ views tainted a bit. They saw this 54-year-old American go to the Philippines to meet this young woman.
Then the fans watched as Ed seemed to groom Rose for his own pleasure. The compassion for Ed quickly flew out the window. So just how far did Big Ed go to masquerade himself to snag Rose?
