Man Sentenced, Says Wife Begged Him To Kill Her For Whorish Behavior
A Pennsylvania man is claiming that his wife begged him to kill her over her whorish behavior. He has since been sentenced for what he did, but when did all of this go down? Moreover, how long will he go away for? Keep reading for more details.
Man Says Wife Begged Him To Kill Her
A Pennsylvania man has just been sentenced for killing his wife, although he claims she begged him to end her life. There are a lot of things people do for love, but this is beyond and next-level behavior. In February 2024, Jami Harrison’s body was found by her eleven-year-old daughter. Not only did she have marks on her neck, but also on her head. Jami’s husband, Matthew Harrison, was said to be a cruel man and not very nice to his wife. Therefore, when the cause of death was asphyxiation with alleged sexual assault, all signs pointed to Matthew.

It was Jami’s daughters who wrote and read victim impact statements that further hindered him. However, Matthew did not need much help as he had sent messages saying he intended to kill her, and then shared when he did. He felt that Jami wanted to be killed “so she could stop being a whore.” Unfortunately for Matthew, the judge in the case did not care for what he had to say. He noted that Matthew should have protected Jami, and instead, he went the opposite way. When Matthew spoke, he knew that he had already pleaded guilty.
Yet, the forty-nine-year-old added this:
“There’s nothing I can say that would change anything. But, I mean, I’m sorry for this and I do wish that I wouldn’t have gotten any type of mindset to allow myself to do this.”
He was fine when he decided to kill his wife, but now, Matthew Harrison had remorse. What he did was inexcusable, and he was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, plus 5-10 years. That may not be enough, as he took Jami away from her children.
A Disgusting Act
Those who heard about Matthew Harrison and his reasoning behind wanting to kill his wife were disgusted. They could not believe the sickness that went along with this heinous crime, but her daughters were beyond devastated. They hated the idea that they now had no parents with the death of Jami Harrison. At the end of it all, Matthew admitted that he missed and loved his wife. More so, he missed her every day, but that is hard to believe after his ability to kill her. Hopefully, he never forgets what he did and lives with this for the rest of his life.
Can you believe his alleged reasoning for killing his wife, and should his sentence have been harsher? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
