Father Murders Premie Son, Goes To Smoke During Resuscitation
An English father has been accused of murdering his newborn son, and then going out to smoke as the hospital attempted to resuscitate him. This tragedy all went down in 2024, but justice is finally being served. So, what will happen to the dad? Keep reading for more details.
Father Murders Premie Son, Goes For A Smoke After
The way that people are these days, it is crazy that they even have or want children. So many stories are coming out regarding parents trying to or successfully murdering their kids, that it is sick. Such is the case of Daniel Gunter, who killed his two-week-old son. Brendon Staddon was born early, at thirty-three weeks, and was attempting to get stronger while in the hospital. Sadly, Daniel decided to smash his son’s skull in and did even more damage than that. Per authorities, the premie suffered a fractured skull, a broken neck, a broken jaw, broken legs, and broken wrists.
This is an unimaginable tragedy, and it does not end there. Brendon’s mother, Sophie, told the hospital staff that her son was “cold.” They checked and found it was far more severe than that. However, as the hospital was seeing what could be done for Brendon, his mother and father went outside to smoke. His dad had also been accused of pulling out Brendon’s nasal tube. Plus, he had allegedly taken him out of his incubator, so Daniel had a past of being horrid to his son.
When Sophie and Daniel were being arrested, the latter was consumed with his vape being removed. All he wanted to do was smoke while his son had passed away. Brendon’s grandfather was devastated over what happened and spoke out amid the tragedy:
“We have been robbed of a life of memories of Brendon. We won’t get to see his first steps, hear his first words, take him on his first holiday and see him grow into a young boy then a man.”
Now, Daniel Gunter has been convicted of murder, while Sophie Stadden did not face as harsh a charge. She was charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.

Brendon Staddon’s life was lost way too soon, at the hands of his father. He will have to live with this forever, and those who have heard of this story are shocked. It is not bad enough, he continued to try to harm the premie, but all he cared about was being able to smoke. Immediately, followers chimed in with their thoughts on this sick and cruel act:
