Dad Accused Of Murdering Young Daughters Is Spotted In Forest?
An allegedly murderous dad may have been spotted in an Idaho forest. This comes a month after the search was on for him when he was accused of killing his three girls. So, what is being done to check if it is him? Keep reading for more details.
Murderous Dad Found In Idaho Forest?
On Monday, June 2nd, three young girls were discovered, tragically deceased. Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia Decker were found near their father, Travis Decker’s, car in Washington state. They had allegedly headed off with Travis on May 30th, which was a designated visitation day. After that, the gruesome discovery of their remains was made, but their father was nowhere to be found. A week later, the autopsy results were revealed, and the cause was “suffocation, and the manner of death was determined to be homicide.”
As of now, Travis is the main suspect, and the search is on for him, but it is unclear if he is still alive. On his truck, fingerprints were found to indicate an injury. Therefore, he may have fallen or hurt himself, which led to his demise. If he has died along the way, a full autopsy will be conducted to determine what happened. As for the possibility that he was found in an Idaho forest, a family saw someone matching Travis’ detailed description.
They were camping in Sawtooth National Forest and did attempt to chat with him. He was not responsive, nor did he look them in the eye. The dad is wanted on first-degree murder and kidnapping charges, but he needs to be located first. To aid in the passing of the three girls, a GoFundMe was set up for their mother, Whitney. This is to help with any legal fees she may incur, as well as any additional expenses. The current goal is $1.4 million, but they have surpassed $1.2 million as of Monday, July 7th, 2025. Undoubtedly, it will just continue to go up the more that this story is spread.

Those who have heard about this story are heartbroken for Whitney. They cannot believe the pain that she is going through, so many have been inspired to donate. More so, they have left little messages for her and her family to let them know how deeply they are touched by this:
