Phoenix Woman Buried Alive After Being Beaten & Assaulted

Phoenix Woman Buried Alive
A Phoenix, Arizona, woman was violently beaten and sexually assaulted by her boyfriend, Timothy Wood. For two weeks, he used scare tactics to keep her under his control. He was able to do so by hiding out in the shed behind his father’s home, where he raped and tried to suffocate her. It looked like she would be left for dead when he decided to dig a hole under the shed. There, he left his girlfriend for dead by burying her alive, but that ended after two days. Although Timothy thought she was done for, he was very much wrong.
The girlfriend found a way to escape, and Timothy was arrested on July 2nd. It seems that she initially stayed as she was homeless and had no other outlet. However, as the days went by, it became increasingly worse. When she would go into the main house, she had to wear makeup so no one would see her bruises. She also claimed that Timothy said he would chop her foot off, and even attempted to do so. He allegedly took out a saw and began hacking into her foot, so it’s amazing she could escape.
When Timothy headed to court, he disputed his girlfriend’s allegations. Moreover, he maintained that she had “just got out of the loony bin.” He added that she was struggling for some time and having repeated episodes. However, he shared that he wanted to get in touch with her mom and left the shed. That was when he returned to find the authorities waiting for him. The Phoenix man has another court date on Friday, July 11th, and is being held behind bars for the time being.
Up In The Air
Timothy Wood, 36, does not have a public defender, nor has he entered a plea. Therefore, his fate is very much up in the air. There is also no word if his girlfriend has been institutionalized, and if his story tracks. Time will tell, and she will likely have to continue to relive this nightmare all over again. After followers read this story, they were shocked but also felt he had a secret. Looking at his face made some uneasy with them saying this:
- From the look on his face he’s in denial. I hope that woman can find shelter and help to get on her feet.

There is hope that she will heal, but some wondered how she did not know that Timothy was off. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
