Michaela Bates Shares New Details About Foster Kids & Moving Plans
Bringing Up Bates star Michaela Bates Keilen has been celebrating with Brandon after they finally became foster parents. The two have struggled to have a child due to infertility issues. IVF and surrogacy were never an option for the two. Due to this, they decided to foster two kids. Michaela was so happy to get qualified to become a foster parent for two boys. Bringing Up Bates: Michaela Bates Shares Adventures With Brandon
Michaela recently took to YouTube to share one of her latest activities with Brandon. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, they went on a vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They had a blast in their hotel, where they encountered different animals, including a bear in the parking lot. Michaela also said that seeing her oldest foster son enjoy their vacation makes her happy. She added, “His delight and wonder at the simple things is contagious and I’m seeing beauty in so many things that I’ve been too busy to notice for a while.”
Michaela Shares New Details About Foster Kids
Michaela Bates Keilen answered new questions on IG Stories. One of them was about how her life is going as a foster parent. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, the boys are doing “wonderful,” adding that she treats every moment with them as a gift. Michaela also said that she enjoys watching them play, learn, and grow.
Some of the things they like to do are to go outdoors, read books, and play with toy cars. She also revealed that her 3-year-old fostered son is now doing preschool work, adding that he’s having a blast with workbooks, pencils, and coloring. Michaela went on to say that the boys are starting to feel even more comfortable with them, and she’s hoping they’ll continue to feel how much they’re loved and cherished.

Michaela also answered a question regarding her plans to move now that she has a growing family. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she and Brandon don’t plan to leave their house, saying that it’s spacious enough for them.
Michaela Bates Keilen also described her 3-year-old as a “curious, energetic, and engaging” child, adding that he’s excited about everything in life. Michaela then said that her baby boy has been “cuddly, adorable, and growing.” He’s starting to play with toys and is smiling even more. She also revealed that her baby loves her brother so much, and she’s having fun seeing them flourish together.
