10-Year-Old Students Plot Classmate’s Murder

Elementary school is supposed to be about learning, making friends, and growing as a person. It should not be about death and bullying, but sadly, that is becoming very prevalent. For some parents, it is becoming scary to send their children to school, and with good reason. In Surprise, Arizona, four fifth-graders were accused of plotting a classmate’s death. The students came up with an elaborate plan to stab a boy from their school on October 1st, 2024. Why did they think this was necessary? He allegedly cheated, which came out after he broke up with a girlfriend.

This is all very interesting, given that they are ten, and this is way too grown-up for them to even think about. Yet the young ladies were allegedly going to stab the student and then act like it was a suicide. They came up with the idea while chatting at recess, and even divided up responsibilities to carry this out. There would be the girl who brought the knife, another who was watching out for anyone coming, and finally, the last girl would stab him in the stomach. As for the fourth, she would be the writer of the suicide note to frame him.

To keep in line with how smart these students were, they knew enough to wear gloves while this played out. Fortunately, other classmates overheard what was going on, and they immediately reported it to the school. After it came out, the girls had their belongings inspected to see what could be found. Additionally, the girls had their parents with them as they were asked questions about the plan. Once the murder plot came to light, how did the girls react? That was the strange part.

An Odd Ending

Three of the female students appeared to feel bad about what they were going to do. They saw the error of their ways, but the last one did not seem to care. She supposedly would “smile and laugh while making excuses for their actions,” which is very sad that she could not grasp the severity of what happened. They were ultimately arrested for threatening and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. However, their parents were there to take them home. As of now, they have been suspended for their actions, which could lead to expulsion, but it is unclear if that has happened just yet.

Can you believe these tweens were capable of coming up with this sick idea, and had it all planned out? Furthermore, is expulsion enough, or should more happen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
