It also came to a point where she’d just stay in her bed and try to remember all the Bible verses over and over to get through her anxieties. The Counting On alum also follows the same homeschool tradition Jim Bob and Michelle did for them. But some fans are calling out Joy-Anna for her techniques.

Joy-Anna Blasted Over Homeschool Video

Some Redditors react to Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth’s latest clip, which features a day in her homeschool routines. The Counting On starts her day playing with her two youngest kids, Evelyn and Gunner. Moments later, she sat down with Gideon to read books and teach him different things. Joy-Anna also revealed that she homeschools for 40 minutes. But several Reddit users think it’s not enough, especially for Gideon, who’s supposed to be in second grade today.

  • “Gideon should be starting bankruptcy education soon right?”
  • “The idea that poorly homeschooled kids grow up and then homeschool their kids is frightening, to say the least.”
  • “So I actually think Joy has the perfect temperament to be a preschool or elementary teacher if they believed in education (and women having careers). But this just continues to prove that they don’t, and it’s sad for those kids.’
  • “From what I have heard, homeschool for Kindergarten is 90 minutes per day.”
  • “Educational neglect is a serious problem in this country. Its unfortunate. I know that 40-60 minutes of one on one education is adequate for some kids but you know damn well that she wasn’t dedicating that full time one on one while other younger kids are around. She is barely educated herself let alone skilled to provide educated to a child.”
