Counting On alum Joy-Anna Duggar is getting a lot of attention following her recent Q&A vlog. The 26-year-old has been one of the most active daughters of Jim Bob and Michelle today. She likes to spend time with her siblings and even flew to Los Angeles earlier this year to spend time with her sister, Jinger. But despite all the fun time, the mother of three revealed that things have been difficult for her since giving birth to Gunner. Keep reading to see why Joy-Anna is struggling.
Counting On: Joy-Anna Duggar Considering Living In Los Angeles
During her recent Q&A vlog, Joy-Anna talked about the recent speculation that they’re moving to Los Angeles. According to the Counting On alum, Jinger and Jeremy tried to convince her to move to L.A. following their recent get-together. “This is the first trip where I was like, I mean I could see us living here that’s like where God moved us,” she said. But she also clarified that she may move to Los Angeles just because her sister lives there. She also added that they have such a great community, and everybody in her sister’s neighborhood was “super sweet.”
Joy-Anna Shares Difficulties Since Welcoming Gunner
Joy-Anna also opened up about her struggles since welcoming Gunner during her latest vlog. According to the former Counting On star, her postpartum today is a lot harder than her other kids. She also added that she’s been “exhausted” because she has two little kids and a baby. “I think mentally and spiritually, it’s been a battle for me,” she added. Austin Forsyth’s wife also explained that her struggles today are a “different kind of hard” and that her world has been crumbling around her and she couldn’t control anything.
Nevertheless, she clarified that she’s been working on finding herself again and even began to read books to motivate herself. Furthermore, Joy-Anna revealed that she’s focusing on living a healthy lifestyle and getting herself back in shape.
Counting On: Joy-Anna Duggar Opens Up About New Haircut & Relationship With Parents
Aside from her struggles, Joy-Anna also discussed her new haircut during her Q&A video. According to the Counting On alum, she fell in love with her new hairstyle as soon as she pulled her ponytails out after cutting them short. Some considered her new look as “Duggar-defying” due to the family’s conservative beliefs.
However, she made it clear that she’s still loved by her parents and revealed that she still sees them at least once a week. She even participated in the Duggar family’s Christmas party last year.
