Counting On alum Josiah Duggar and his wife, Lauren, have kept their lives private online. They deleted all of their social media photos. The reason behind their absence is unclear. However, some fans believe the controversies revolving around the Duggar family played a significant role in their disappearance. Fortunately, some Duggars continue to stay in touch and occasionally share vlogs and photos with the married couple. Keep reading to see what they’re up to today.
Counting On: Josiah & Lauren Duggar Welcome Baby Number Two Behind Cameras
Josiah and Lauren welcomed their first child, Bella, on November 8, 2019. They shared a lot about their daughter. But the two decided to wipe out their IG pages in November 2021. Since then, they have only been spotted at big Duggar gatherings. The 24-year-old mother also made headlines after she was spotted with what seems to be a baby bump in one of the supersized family’s vlogs and photos in 2022.
In December 2022, the former Counting On stars reportedly welcomed their second child and named her Daisy. Jim Bob and Michelle have yet to confirm if they have a new granddaughter. But photos of Lauren and Josiah with the “mystery baby” have circulated online.
Josiah & Lauren’s New Home
In November 2022, Jim Bob and Michelle reportedly transferred five acres of land in the Duggar compound to Josiah and Lauren. The married couple didn’t waste any time and built on the land. According to reports, the Counting On alums spent $573K to build an impressive 2,556-square-foot house. It features three bathrooms, a porch, and a garage. Their relocation also comes amid rumors that they’re already expecting their third child. There have also been screenshots from several family vlogs showing Lauren with what appears to be a baby bump.
Counting On: Josiah & Lauren Duggar’s Job Today
The Duggar family’s official website describes Josiah as a contractor, pilot, and car dealer. He also revealed that he is busy building homes and spends most of his free time with his family. Meanwhile, Lauren earned her associate’s degree in nursing at Georgia Military College. However, the Counting On alum has publicly stated that she doesn’t enjoy school and no longer plans to continue pursuing a career as a nurse.
Despite stepping away online, Josiah and Lauren Duggar still make an effort to spend time with the Duggar family. It’s unclear if they still plan to return. But it seems they’ve been living happily today, leaving behind all of the controversies revolving around the family, especially the oldest child, Josh, who was arrested for CSAM in April 2021.
