Counting On alum Jill Dillard made headlines after participating in the Amazon Prime Video docuseries about the Duggars and the IBLP. She also announced a book that will talk about her difficult past with the Duggars. The mother of six has received different reactions due to her decisions. But it seems she wants to stay as positive as possible. Recently, the former TLC star shared updates regarding her yard, which has turned into a farm.
Counting On: Jill Dillard Continues To Stay Positive
In an Instagram post, Jill shared an adorable picture of her kids working in their kitchen. Sam and Israel were cleaning the dishes while their little brother, Frederick, watched over them. The 32-year-old mother also shared a gospel song about counting the blessings in life. Some Counting On fans commend Derick’s wife for giving her sons privacy, similar to what Jinger Vuolo does to her daughters. However, Jill is more transparent about them, especially when it comes to their schools and swimming lessons.
Jill Shares Updates On Mini Farm
Jill surprised some of her social media followers after sharing a picture from her yard. According to the Counting On alum, she’s thankful for their summer garden harvest. She also added that she had no time to make a video about her garden, though it’s clear that it has turned into a mini farm. Gardening has been a popular hobby among the Duggar daughters. At one point, Jana had a massive farm in the Duggar compound. But fans haven’t heard much of it because of her online disappearance. Jessa and Jinger have also shown their passion for collecting indoor plants.
Counting On: Has Jill Dillard Made Contact With Parents Since Book Announcement?
At this point, Jill has yet to share if she has already made contact with her parents since announcing her book. They’ve been out of touch since the release of the documentary, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, in which she also participated. Jim Bob and Michelle have expressed their disappointment with the docuseries. Though they never mentioned anything about their daughter.
Meanwhile, some fans are hoping that things are better between them, especially after Jill and her mother reunited back in April. The Duggar daughter also paid tribute to her dad on Father’s Day, suggesting that she still loves them despite their complicated status.
