New Jersey authorities spent this past weekend investigating a murder-suicide situation that resulted in an injured woman and two dead men following a deadly shooting.
New Jersey Husband Shoots Himself After Murdering Wife’s Boyfriend
According to People Magazine, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force out of New Jersey was tasked with investigating a deadly shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured.
It was on Saturday evening just before midnight when Newark police received a call to respond to a shooting. After police arrived, they discovered 33-year-old, Isaiah Cobb, suffering from what looked to be gunshot wounds. Approximately 15 minutes after authorities arrived, the 33-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also discovered a second victim. Terrance Carroll, 51, also suffered from a gunshot wound. He was reportedly still alive with police arrived and transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead at approximately 12:13 a.m. on Sunday.
A female victim — whose identity was not made public — was also taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated.
Law enforcement officers tell People Magazine, Terrance Carroll reportedly shot Isaiah Cobb after discovering he was having an affair with his wife. Isaiah Cobb was reportedly sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle when he was shot by the husband of his lover.
Terrance Carroll Reportedly Parked & Waited
A police source goes on to tell People Magazine that the enraged husband reportedly parked his vehicle outside of his wife’s boyfriend’s home all night waiting for him to come home. After reportedly firing his wife’s lover in the temple, he went inside the apartment before shooting himself in the head as well.
It is also being reported that Terrance Carroll attacked his wife prior to shooting her husband. Authorities are not revealing her name at this time or what the status of their marriage was prior to this tragic murder-suicide.

The investigation into exactly what happened as New Jersey police work to piece together the details is ongoing. The wife is reportedly at the hospital recovering from her injuries while talking to police about what happened. Police are also speaking to neighbors confirming the details of what happened.
While the investigation continues, thoughts and prayers are with the family of Isaiah Cobb as they mourn this tragic and unfortunate passing.
