Counting On star Abbie Duggar has been silent on social media over the past few weeks. However, she’s been making headlines lately after members of the Duggar family shared pictures from her baby shower. It appears that Abbie is having a healthy pregnancy!
Fans are also praising John-David Duggar for looking after his pregnant wife all the time. Some seem glad that the two are getting stronger despite all the challenges that the Duggar family is facing lately. Now, Abbie finally returned to social media to share more pictures from her recent baby shower.

In a social media post, Counting On star Abbie Duggar shared pictures from her baby shower.
“Had so much fun celebrating baby boy this weekend!” Abbie captioned the photo.
Despite all the recent photos from her baby shower circulating online, fans are glad that Abbie herself took the effort to share more pictures. Some of the pictures show what they had for the baby shower. One of them is an elegant cake as well as several waffles surrounded by fruits. Meanwhile, fans took Abbie’s comment section to congratulate her and wish her the best for her pregnancy. “May God richly blesses you & baby boy thru this pregnancy!!!” one fan said. “Congratulations John and Abbie!” another fan added.
Has Abbie Come Up With A Name?
At this point, Counting On star Abbie Duggar has yet to share if she has already come up with a name for her upcoming baby boy. However, the Duggars usually reveal a baby’s name when they finally arrived. Due to this, fans can expect that Abbie will follow the tradition and will reveal the baby’s name once she gives birth. Meanwhile, reports claimed that Abbie is expected to give birth early in September. She has yet to confirm it herself, but fans are already getting excited about her growing family.
Counting On: Jim Bob Duggar & Michelle Duggar Didn’t Attend The Baby Shower?
Counting On fans also noticed that Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar are nowhere to be found during Abbie Duggar’s baby shower. Apparently, Jim Bob and Michelle usually attend such celebrations. However, it appears that the two are trying their best to avoid social media lately. This wasn’t the first time Jim Bob and Michelle didn’t attend a baby shower. At one point, fans called out the two for not going to their daughter Jill Duggar’s baby shower for Frederick.
It’s believed that Josh Duggar’s CSAM arrest forced Jim Bob and Michelle to step away from the online world. But fans think that the two can still redeem themselves by helping the victims of child abuse and doing something to spread awareness.
