Sister Wives fans took to Reddit to discuss one of the most heartbreaking years in the plural family. According to some, the year when the family struggled from the Covid-19 pandemic might be the worst year for them.
“This season was a trainwreck and there was no excuse for Kody’s choice to stay away from his kids,” one person said.
“COVID just showed how fragile this whole group is. They fell apart when things got tough,” another person added.
Meanwhile, some pointed out that the plural family became dysfunctional ever since they moved to Flagstaff. Aside from Kody’s strict distancing rules, fans have seen him breaking the hearts of his wives by showing his favoritism towards Robyn Brown.
Christine & Kody’s Split
Sister Wives fans also think that things were never the same in the plural family since Kody Brown and Christine Brown’s split. According to some, it seems that Kody has never paid a visit to his other families since Christine’s departure. Instead, he’s been spotted multiple times going on dates and shopping with only Robyn Brown. Fans also think that it’s clear evidence of Kody’s unfair relationship with Robyn. Meanwhile, fans are glad that the other wives still get to live a happy life with their children despite Kody’s absence.

At this point, TLC has yet to confirm if the plural family will return for another season. However, Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown previously revealed in her social media live stream that her mother, Christine Brown, traveled back to Flagstaff to film.
According to some, it seems that the plural family is filming for Season 17. It’s unclear what’s going to Christine’s role after calling it quits with Kody. Fans are also curious about how Kody will handle his plural family after not seeing them for a long time.
