However, fans are starting to wonder if Josh finally realized what he did. Apparently, Josh also denied the accusations against him. Despite the strong pieces of evidence, Josh still hasn’t shown signs that he regrets what he did. He’s even supported by his wife, Anna Duggar, all the way. However, fans think that Anna is starting to realize that she’s on the wrong side.

Counting On fans took Reddit to discuss the possibility that Josh Duggar is still in denial. Apparently, a person asked if things has sunk in for Josh as his sentencing gets closer. However, many believe that Josh still denies the accusations and thinks that he’s innocent. “Best guess, he’s still in denial. He’s been coddled and protected and fawned over for so long,” one person said. Meanwhile, some think that things will kick in once Josh finally faces jail time. “I think it might kick in after he’s sentenced and in federal prison,” one person said.
The Duggars Remain Silent After Josh’s Sentencing Date Release
At this point, the Duggars have yet to share their comments regarding Josh Duggar’s upcoming sentence. Counting On fans also noticed that Jim Bob Duggar has been silent on social media for months. Meanwhile, Michelle Duggar has been traveling with her kids lately. It also appears that she doesn’t want to talk about Josh as well. Meanwhile, some of the Duggar kids, especially the older daughters, have already shared their thoughts about Josh’s imprisonment. On the other hand, reports claimed that Anna Duggar still believes that her husband is innocent.

It’s also reported that Anna has been keeping in touch with Josh by calling him. Meanwhile, an insider close to the Duggars claimed that divorce is Anna’s last straw if ever things got worse. At this point, it seems that Anna is still with the Duggar family in Arkansas. It also appears that she’s been getting the help of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar.
It’s clear to see that Anna is trying her best to live a happy life. However, fans think that she will start to feel the struggle when her kids start to grow while her husband faces jail time.
