Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar has been making headlines after appearing during Josh Duggar’s final verdict. Apparently, Jim Bob was caught rushing to their car along with the other Duggars after Josh was found guilty. It’s clear to see that Jim Bob supports Josh. There are also reports stating that he’s been funding his defense. Now, Jim Bob took social media to finally release a statement regarding his son’s arrest. However, not many are pleased with what he said.
Counting On: Jim Bob Duggar Says He’s Heartbroken Over Josh Duggar’s Guilty Verdict
In a social media post, Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar shared a message regarding Josh Duggar’s guilty verdict. “As a father, I am heartbroken over the entire situation regarding my son, all who have been affected by it in any way and those who have been harmed through CSAM,” Jim Bob said. Jim Bob also said that he respects the legal system and all the decisions that were made during his son’s trial. However, some are not having it and called out Jim Bob for giving sympathy to his son. “Notice, he’s heartbroken over the situation regarding his son… not his daughters who his son abused, they don’t exist!!” one person said. “And he doesn’t acknowledge his son is actually guilty. He says he’s heartbroken but doesn’t even remotely acknowledge his son’s guilt at all,” another person added.
Jim Bob Say’s His Advocacy Will Remain Strong During His Campaign
Aside from his son, Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar also revealed that he’ll remain strong during his campaign. “As your state senator, I promise to remain an unwavering conservative voice representing our great community in Little Rock,” Jim Bob said. However, fans called out Jim Bob for having the will to run despite all their controversies. “The audacity to turn a statement on your son’s depravity into a “vote for me” request. I mean, I know they’re all deranged, but this is beyond the pale,” one person said. “Can’t even stop his campaign to take care of his family that is falling apart,” another person added.
Counting On: Jim Bob Duggar Remains Silent Regarding Jana’s Trouble With The Law
At this point, Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar has yet to open up regarding his daughter Jana Duggar’s trouble with the law. Apparently, some of the Duggars have already shown their support to Jana. However, Jim Bob’s recent statement was only for his son and his campaign. Fans also think that Jim Bob doesn’t really care about Jana, especially by how he and Michelle Duggar made her like a babysitter to their grandkids.
