Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar has been making headlines after announcing that he’s running for office. According to Jim Bob, he’s running for the Arkansas State Senate. The announcement was a huge surprise to many, especially with the recent controversies surrounding the Duggars. However, it seems that Jim Bob wants to focus on other things happening in their family lately. One of which is Jeremiah Duggar’s recent announcement of his relationship with Hannah Wissmann. He’s sharing his thoughts on their relationship. However, some think that it doesn’t change the fact that nobody from the family seems to show support to Jim Bob’s candidacy.
Counting On: Jim Bob Duggar Shares Thoughts On Jeremiah & Hannah’s Relationship
Apparently, Jim Bob is giving his blessings to his son and his girlfriend. In a social media post, Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar shared a lengthy message for his son, Jeremiah Duggar. “We are so happy for our son Jeremiah and his relationship with Hannah Wissmann! Jeremiah is a faithful man who has trusted God and prayed for the right girl to come into his life in His time,” Jim Bob said. “We have absolutely loved getting to know Hannah and the Wissmann family better this year!” he added. Jim Bob also said that they’ve been a long-time friend of the Wissmann family. After that, Jim Bob shared heartwarming words for Hannah as he gives his blessing to her relationship with his son. “We are thrilled for Jeremiah and Hannah as they both continue to seek the Lord about their future together!” Jim Bob added.
The Duggar Kids Not Supporting Their Father?
Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar shocked the world after announcing his candidacy. However, it seems that none of his kids have shown support since his announcement. Fans also find it odd that nobody from the family is even mentioning Jim Bob’s candidacy online. According to some, it just shows how the Duggars are falling apart due to Jim Bob’s decision makings. There are also reports stating that the Duggars are having a feud due to Josh Duggar’s arrest.
Counting On: Will Jeremiah & Hannah Get Their Own Spinoff?
Counting On fans think that Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Wissmann deserve their own spinoff. Despite TLC canceling their show, fans think that there’s still hope for the two to get on the small screens. According to some, TLC can document the life of the new couple without having to focus on the Duggar’s recent controversies. Some also agree and said that it’s going to be a great opportunity for Jeremiah to showcase his adventurous lifestyle to everyone.
At this point, TLC has yet to confirm if the Duggars will ever return to TV after Josh Duggar’s arrest. However, fans are still hoping that things will get better soon and the network will give the conservative family another shot.
