Counting On star Austin Forsyth might have dodged a bullet in his real estate fraud case. Apparently, the Plaintiffs sued Austin for fraud and negligence back in October 2019. According to the family, Austin doesn’t own proper permits to install a septic system in the home they bought from him. However, Austin defended himself throughout the years and said that he has followed all the codes regarding the construction of the property. Now, reports claimed that Austin and the Plaintiffs have come to an agreement to end their ongoing issue.
Counting On: Austin Forsyth Settles Real Estate Fraud Case
According to reports, Counting On star Austin Forsyth and the Plaintiffs have reached a settlement and requested the case to be dismissed on May 21. The settlement also comes a few days earlier from Austin’s expected trial on May 25. Reports also claimed that the dismissal of the case was approved by an Arkansas judge. There’s not a lot of information regarding how both parties were able to settle their issue. However, it’s a piece of good news for Austin as he can finally continue his career with peace.
What Really Happened?
According to reports, the Plaintiffs claimed that they smelled an unmistakable foul odor of human waste emanated from their yard. The family also explained it as constant and unbearable. After that, the Plaintiffs claimed that their dog got sick from drinking water from the yard. The Plaintiffs later learned that the land was unsuitable for the septic system that Counting On star Austin Forsyth installed. Austin was also accused of not obtaining proper permits from his construction. However, Austin defended himself and said that everything was done according to the code.
Counting On: Austin Continues To Thrive In Real Estate
Counting On star Austin Forsyth has been busy with his real estate career over the past couple of months. Joy-Anna Duggar has been sharing pictures of him working on his construction site. At one point, Joy-Anna shared several clips of her kids as they visit Austin on his construction site. Austin enjoys the sudden visits of Joy-Anna and his kids to his workplace. Joy-Anna even shared a clip of Austin and Gideon driving a mini excavator. At this point, Austin is still working on his latest project, which appears to be a massive house. However, he doesn’t forget to bond with his family despite his busy schedule. At one point, Austin went to Ozark National Forest with Joy-Anna and the kids.
