TLC star Amy King is known for being the rebellious cousin of the Duggars. She had some screentime during the show, 19 Kids And Counting. However, opening up about Josh Duggar’s recent arrest, Amy admits she regrets being a part of the reality show. Apparently, Josh was recently arrested after being accused of possessing child pornography. Aside from that, the Duggars also shocked the world after Josh’s molestation scandal broke in 2015.
Counting On: Amy King Opens Up Regretting To Be In The Show
During an interview, the former reality star Amy King opened up about regretting being in the show. According to her, if she only knew more information about Josh Duggar’s past, she wouldn’t be on the show. “I was blindsided about Josh’s past, completely blindsided. I wish I had known that backstory beforehand”, Amy said. “That way I probably would never have been on the show”, she added. Apparently, Josh became major news when his molestation scandal broke in 2015, where he sexually abused four of his sisters and a family friend during his teenage days.
Amy Says She Doesn’t Really Want To Be In The Spotlight
Amy King admits having no interest in being in the spotlight during her interview. According to Amy, she did enjoy her time with the kids. She also said that she loves her cousins. However, she wants to change some things in her life aside from being a reality star. “At the same time, I love changing it up a little bit and being a business owner, having my own family and not being in that spotlight”, Amy said. She also said that she now enjoys living a normal life without cameras and media. “It’s really refreshing. I don’t consider myself famous at all, I work with boxes all day long and change diapers”, Amy added.
Does Amy Still Talk to Her Duggar Cousins?
Counting On star Amy King is known for her rebellious acts against some of the Duggar rules, and it appears that it badly affected her relationship with some of her cousins. According to Amy, she’s not on speaking terms with some of the Duggars. However, Amy still has a good relationship with Jill Duggar, who’s also known for being a rebellious Duggar as well. Apparently, Jill often visits Amy in her clothes shop. The two were also seen on a double date with their husbands. Aside from that, Jill and Amy have been communicating a lot by commenting on each other’s posts on social media.
