Apparently, some major news broke out inside the Duggar family earlier this week after Josh Duggar was arrested due to possession of child pornography. Some of the family members start to release their comments about the recent controversy. Meanwhile, reports claim that the family is already expecting Josh’s arrest to happen. It’s also reported that Jim Bob already told some important matters to his kids days before Josh’s arrest.
Counting On: What Did Jim Bob Tell His Kids?
According to reports, Jim Bob Duggar talked to his kids before Josh Duggar’s arrest. A source close to the Duggars claimed that Jim Bob told his kids and their spouses that Josh would be “arrested imminently.” The insider also said that Jim Bob asked all of his kids to pray for Josh and Anna Duggar. After that, the insider said that Jim Bob also told his kids to remain silent and not speak publicly about the arrest of Josh.
However, the Duggars were immediately swarmed by questions moments after the news about Josh’s arrest broke. Some of them even turned off their comments section on their social media accounts to avoid further issues. After that, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar later released their own statement about their son’s arrest. According to them, they appreciate all the prayers and support from the fans. They also said they will accept whatever comes to light.
Jessa & Ben Desire For The Truth To Be Exposed
Counting On stars, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald released their statement about Josh Duggar’s recent arrest. According to them, they’ll continue to stand against any form of child abuse. They also said that they desire for the truth to be exposed.
Apparently, Jessa is one of the victims of Josh’s molestation scandal. Jessa previously announced that they have already forgiven Josh. However, she made it clear that the trust is still not there. Now, it appears that things will get even worse with the recent controversy of Josh.
Counting On: Jill & Derick Are Saddened About Josh’s Arrest
Counting On stars, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have estranged themselves from the Duggar family for years. However, they can’t help but react to Josh Duggar’s recent arrest. During an interview, Jill and Derick said that it’s very sad to hear about Josh’s arrest. Meanwhile, Derick took social media to join the fans to speculate if the show is going to be canceled or not. According to him, there’s no point in cancelation as Josh wasn’t even in the cast of Counting On.
