Counting On star Jill Duggar grew up in the strict family rules of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar. However, since estranging herself from the family, Jill started doing rebellious acts against Duggar’s rules. One of which is her choices of clothing. Apparently, the Duggar girls are not allowed to wear pants. They’re only allowed to wear long skirts and dresses. However, Jill’s way of clothing has been raising a lot of eyebrows. Meanwhile, some fans are happy for her as she chose not to follow Jim Bob’s strict rules. Now, Jill shares her new trendy summer fashion as she visits the clothes shop of her cousin Amy King.
Counting On: Jill Duggar Shares Beautiful Summer Fashion
In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared several clips of her as she shops at her cousin, Amy King’s boutique. In one of her clips, Jill showed her husband, Derick Dillard enjoying his time inside the boutique. After that, Jill shared a clip of herself trying out the dress that she bought. Apparently, Jill’s dress has a summer touch in it. She even combined it with a summer hat. Jill’s dress is also above the knees, which is against the strict rules of Jim Bob Duggar. However, Jill has been wearing short dresses ever since she estranged herself from the family.
At one point, Jill made headlines after wearing a dress with a huge slit up the side.She even raised the slit to show her legs, which is against the modest rules of the Duggars. “The slit goes up pretty high for fundies”, one fan said. “She very quickly shows her thigh. Jim Bob must be having a heart attack. Go Jill, tho!”, another fan added.
Jill Lets Her Kids Touch Gadgets
Counting On star Jill Duggar shared how she keeps her kids busy as she shops at her cousin’s boutique. According to Jill, she gave the kids an iPad. She even shared a clip of them sitting on a couch while watching kids’ shows. However, it’s widely known that Jim Bob Duggar has strict rules about letting the kids watch modern shows. At one point, Jinger Duggar admitted that none of them were allowed to watch TV during their childhood days. However, it appears that times have changed and the family is finally accepting modern activities.
This wasn’t the first time Jill shared how she disciplines her kids. At one point, Jill revealed that they’re playing a game called “Obedience Game”, where her kids have to follow everything she asked them while saying “Yes Ma’am.” However, not a lot of fans were impressed by her technique. Some even called it a “cult brainwashing.”
Counting On: Jill Duggar & Amy King’s Relationship
Counting On star Jill Duggar is known for her close relationship with her cousin, Amy King. However, fans think that Amy is one of the main reasons why Jill turned against her family’s strict rules.
Apparently, Amy is considered the rebellious cousin of the Duggars. She’s very open to talking about intimacy on her social media. She was also seen drinking alcohol with Jill on a double date with their husbands. Amy herself admits that her beliefs are far from the Duggars. “I love my family. I’m just not born to live the way they do”, Amy said during her interview.
