Counting On star Amy King is known for her rebellious reputation in the Duggar family. She’s the niece of Jim Bob Duggar and has a very close relationship with her cousin Jill Duggar. The two previously made headlines after they went thrift shopping. Apparently, Jill and her husband Derick Dillard revealed they have estranged themselves from the family. Since then, Jill has been very close to Amy, who also estranged herself from the Duggars. Now, Amy shared another rebellious act on social media. She did a wine challenge despite the family’s rules against booze.
Counting On: Amy King Does The Wine Challenge
In a social media post, Counting On star Amy King shared a clip of herself doing the wine challenge. “#winechallenge#sundayshennanigans”, Amy captioned. Apparently, the goal of the challenge is to hold the wine glass with the use of mouth to help the other person drink the wine. Amy appears to do just that. However, fans think that she went too far from breaking the Duggar family rules. It’s no secret that drinking is strictly prohibited in the Duggar family. One fan told Amy, “A Duggar drinking alcohol?” Amy replied with, “cheers I’m a King,” seemingly disregarding herself as a member of the Duggar family.
Amy King Has Been Open To Drinking Alcohol
Counting On star Amy King has been seen a couple of times drinking alcohol. At one point, she and Dillon King drank alcohol with Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard during their double date. Amy has been in touch with Jill as they seem to share the same opinion on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s family rules. At one point, the two went out thrift shopping. Jill was also slammed after bringing her son Sam to the thrift store amid the raging Covid-19.
Jill Duggar Following Her Cousin’s Steps?
Counting On star Jill Duggar has been rebelling against the strict rules of her parents. Due to this, fans think that she’s trying to follow her cousin Amy King’s steps. At one point, Jill clapped back at her haters criticizing her for drinking alcohol. She shared a picture of her and Derick Dillard drinking coffee with a snarky caption that says, “Oh, and since it seems y’all are interested in my choice of drinks recently (lol recent post)…yes, this was a REGULAR coffee (I.e. full caf) white chocolate mocha with coconut milk.” Aside from that, Jill recently made headlines after sharing her intimacy with Derick, breaking Jim Bob Duggar’s strict rules about modesty. Jill also had her nose pierced as well as enrolled her son in a public school, which is against the Duggar’s tradition of homeschooling.
