Counting On star Jill Duggar Dillard recently made headlines after announcing a new family member. Apparently, Jill and Derick went to a shelter and unexpectedly adopted a dog. According to Jill, they love visiting pet shops, the zoo, and even watching videos online to learn about dog breeds. However, she didn’t expect to adopt a dog during their recent visit to a shelter. Now, Jill shared their new family vlog which features the revelation of their dog’s name. However, it appears that Jill is also scared that their new dog might bite her kids.
Jill Duggar Announces New Dog’s Name
In a YouTube post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared their new dog’s name. According to Jill, they named their dog Fenna. The family took some time to figure out the name. However, they’re happy about it and decided to give Fenna a dog tag. Derick Dillard even went to the pet store to buy foods and toys for Fenna. According to some fans, Jill and Derick are not prepared to have a dog. Due to this, fans took Jill’s comment section to give them advice.
Jill’s excitement can be seen throughout the family vlog. At one point, Jill shared that she’s amazed at how the dog already recognizes their home and their backyard. She also adores how calm and sweet Fenna is.
Jill Fears The Dog Might Bite The Kids
During the family vlog, former Counting On star Derick Dillard and the kids can be seen petting Fenna a lot. However, Jill warned the kids not to touch her often as she’s still new to the family. “I said that they need to be careful about touching her when she has food or if she has her bone,” Jill added. Later in the video, Jill can be heard teaching her kids about proper ways to pet Fenna. “She shouldn’t bite you, but she might. So just don’t take her food or her bone away from her”, Jill said.
Is Jill Slowly Fixing Her Relationship With The Duggars?
Counting On star Jill Duggar has estranged herself from her family. However, she was recently seen at her brother Justin Duggar’s wedding. Fans also praised Jill for attending the wedding despite her feud with the family. After that, Jill shared throwback photos of her with her sister Jana Duggar and cousin Amy King. Since then, fans have been speculating that Jill is slowly restoring her relationship with the family.
