Most of the NBA teams today have started practicing ahead of the 2020-2021 NBA season. However, the Houston Rockets are already facing problems as James Harden went missing on the first day of practice. There are rumors stating that Harden intentionally did not attend practice because of his interest in joining the Brooklyn Nets. Instead of planning ahead for practice, Harden allegedly went out to attend a birthday party. Now, Rockets head coach Stephen Silas reveals that Harden did violate the NBA’s Covid-19 protocols.
NBA: James Harden Did Not Attend The First Day Of Practice
According to Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas, Harden had an individual workout at the Toyota Center. However, Silas revealed that he had no communication with him a few hours before his solo practice. As it turns out, Harden didn’t attend the practice and told the Rockets management that he’ll report soon. However, the team discovered that he attended a birthday party, violating the Covid-19 protocols.
Silas announced that they restricted Harden to attend practice after his irresponsible action. At this point, the Rockets have yet to reveal their next steps for Harden after violating the health and safety protocols. However, the NBA recently revealed that violators will face educational sessions, fines, and suspensions.
James Harden Wants To Play With Former OKC Teammate
James Harden recently went headlines after announcing his interest in getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets. The Houston Rockets recently traded Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards for John Wall. With Westbrook leaving the Rockets, the hopes of Harden reaching the finals are fading away. There are speculations that Harden’s only chance of winning a championship is by joining the Nets. Unfortunately, the Rockets don’t seem to show any interest in trading Harden. Fans think that Harden’s rebellious act was a way to let the Rockets management hear his words.
NBA: James Harden Went To A Party
James Harden was recently seen attending rapper Lil Baby’s birthday party without a mask. A fan also posted a video of Lil Baby receiving a lot of expensive gifts from Harden such as a Prada bag, a $100,000 cash, a Richard Mille watch, and a bag full of honey buns. Fans think that it’s very generous of Harden to give such expensive gifts. However, there are some who are not happy as Harden can be seen violating a lot of Covid-19 healthy and safety protocols.
The NBA 2020-21 season will begin on Tuesday, December 22.
