James Harden Wants To Join Brooklyn Nets
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, James Harden has Brooklyn Nets on top of his list for his preferred trade destination. The Brooklyn Nets are currently led by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. James Harden is a former teammate of Kevin Durant in Oklahoma City Thunder. The two separated and immediately became the franchise players of their own teams. The reunion of the two will definitely bring a huge impact on the Nets. Kyrie’s playmaking skills will also make it easier for Harden to score. If the Nets managed to pull off a blockbuster Harden trade, they’ll definitely become a huge threat for the current NBA champions, Los Angeles Lakers.
Russel Westbrook Denies Rumors About Not Wanting To Play With Harden Anymore
Recently, a rumor surfaced around social media stating that Russel Westbrook doesn’t want to play with James Harden anymore. Most of the fans believed that it was true since the Houston Rockets just went on a devastating playoff run after losing to the western conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Westbrook denied the rumors just hours after it spread. In a social media post, Westbrook confirms that it was all fabricated. However, he didn’t say any words about his alleged trade request. At this point in time, Westbrook doesn’t have any specific locations for his preferred team. But, several NBA analysts believe that there’s a high possibility that he could land in the New York Knicks.
Other Teams Already Making Big Moves
A lot of NBA teams are already discussing their trade options. One of the most anticipated teams to make a move is the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers recently announced their huge interest in obtaining the veteran point guard, Dennis Schroder. It is expected that Rajon Rondo will be traded for Schroder. Some fans find it odd for the Lakers to let go of Rondo, especially that he’s one of the best playmakers in the league. However, LeBron James is known to play for the point guard position, meaning that they’ll no longer need another playmaker. The Lakers also lack players who can shoot threes, making Schroder the best possible addition. Furthermore, fans should not forget that the Lakers are also interested in obtaining DeMar DeRozan from the San Antonio Spurs.
Aside from that, the Golden State Warriors are also looking to make a comeback next season. There are several reports lately stating that the Warriors and the Cleaveland Cavaliers are in the talks of trading for Kevin Love.
