Undisputed Queen Of Christmas, Mariah Carey Has A Holiday Cookie Line

Of course, Mariah Carey has her own line of cookies just in time for the holiday season. The undisputed Queen of Christmas continues to spread holiday cheer amid a bleak 2020. The holiday season has become her season. And now the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer launched her own line of cookies.

Mariah’s Cookies was made in partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts and restaurateur Robert Earl. They are made available for delivery in over 30 U.S. cities starting Friday, December 4. If your zip code isn’t on the list, the company says they will roll out to additional markets later this month and early next year.

What are Mariah’s Cookies?

In a statement released to People, Robert said that his experience in the food business combined with her “love of baking” and “cookies was a natural fit.”

“As Mariah is synonymous with the holidays and celebration, we will make sure that her special holiday flavors are available not only for the holidays but year-round,” he continued. “It has been an inspiration to work with Mariah to develop this brand and to get it launched in time for National Cookie Day and the holiday season.”

Mariah simply added: “Yay, cookies!”

Now for the good part. The cookies come in flavors like Chocolate Chunk, Triple Chocolate Chunk, Heath Bar, Lemon Cooler, and Spiced Oatmeal Reason. There are also seasonal varieties like Gingerbread, Pumpkin, and White Chocolate Cranberry. You can buy them in a box of six or 12. Or, you can order one flavor at a time with aptly-titled combinations like “Holiday Hits” or “Try Them All.”

Since Mariah’s Cookies are a virtual brand, restaurants can license the name so they can bake and deliver the cookies right out of their own kitchens. They will be available through “most” third-party delivery apps, including DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates, and UberEats. Visit mariahcareyscookies.com for more information.

Mariah Carey felt “pushing through” holiday special was necessary

This Friday is a big day for the singer. Her new holiday special, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, debuts on AppleTV+. Mariah Carey appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday, December 3 to talk about her special. She said it was especially important to release it during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m saying this from the heart. I wouldn’t feel happy if I couldn’t celebrate with fans this year,” the singer said. “And just with the world, it’s just been so traumatizing like what’s happened this year. But I think pushing through, and the way things are kind of changing for the better, pushing through with this holiday season for me was super important. I’m just being festive in spite of everything.”

Meanwhile, her iconic holiday track “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has been named this year’s most-played holiday song, according to the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). On Thursday, the organization unveiled its list of 25-holiday songs that dominated the music charts in 2020. Of course, Mariah’s hit song was in the top spot. The song beat out last year’s No. 1 “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” by Meredith Wilson.

Mariah Carey’s Christmas Special drops on AppleTV+ on Friday. It includes guest appearances by Ariana Grande, Billy Eichner, Jennifer Hudson, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Snoop Dogg, and Mariah’s 9-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
