Sister Wives star Kody Brown either keeps in the shadows of social media for the mystery it spins or he just refuses to give people fuel to fire at him. For whatever reason, the head of this large television family flies under the radar online most of the time. But it seems the latest news was too much for the Sister Wives leader to keep quiet about.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Couldn’t Contain Himself From a Tweet
So, Kody Brown shared a tweet with his Sister Wives followers and it wasn’t about politics. No, the husband of four and father of 18 is overwhelming thrilled about a new grandchild on the way.
Mykelti Brown Padron and her husband Tony Padron are expecting a baby in March. This makes grandchild number three for Kody Brown. Christine Brown is Mykelti’s biological mother, so this will make her a first-time grandmother.

Janelle Brown’s biological daughter Maddie Brown Brush has two children. But all four of the co-wives consider them their grandkids. So Mykelti’s little bundle of joy will make the third grandchild for all the Sister Wives women, as well as Kody Brown.
Husband of Four ‘So Excited’
After four years of marriage, Tony Padron and Mykelti Brown Padron have a baby on the way. They are ecstatic over the news. According to reports, Mykelti found out she was pregnant about two months ago.
This Sister Wives young couple hopes for a girl for their firstborn child. It seems that Mykelti intends to follow the Sister Wives tradition of having the baby at home.
Mykelti and Tony already have some names picked out for their baby. No, they don’t know the gender yet. But – surprise… even when they do discover the gender they might not be able to share it right away.
That’s because of a TLC nondisclosure agreement. Yes, this duo is filming for the Sister Wives new season so from here on out it sounds like the fans will only get updates when the head honchos at TLC say so.
One of the Sister Wives fans’ favorites is Tony Padron. Followers of this TLC reality series often ask Tony and Mykelti to come back to the show on their social media posts.
Sister Wives: Tony Padron is Back
Well, the young Sister Wives couple is filming for this new season. This news came right from them during a LuLaRoe live sales they did online. Fans asked and they answered.
Viewers liked how Tony Padron seemed oblivious to the things going on around him. But they also loved to watch his interaction with Kody. Fans watched the wedding planning scenes and commented about how Tony was ready to spend Kody’s money like it was his own.
Sister Wives viewers asked Kody Brown about Tony coming back to the show a while back. But Kody said the show only features the kids who have a storyline to share. This makes sense as only marriages, births, and one daughter’s health problems were featured recently on the show as far as the kids go.
Also, Tony’s job was at a bank and they wouldn’t allow him the time off he needed to film. But both those roadblocks have lifted. The storyline of course is a new baby on the way. As far as Tony’s job… he announced not too long ago that he joins the work-at-home force for his new job.
Tony can’t discuss what he’ll be doing or who he works for in that new job when asked online. He said his new gig has a strict social media policy. But apparently now that he can work from home, he’s able to film the show. So it looks as if Mykelti and Tony might liven up the recently rather stale Sister Wives for the up-and-coming new season. So far, no date for the premiere has been revealed.
