90 Day Fiance celeb Elizabeth Potthast has gone all out by chopping off her beautiful long blonde mane. Viewers of the TLC reality series know Elizabeth and her Moldovian husband Andrei Castravet from the Happily Ever After.
Elizabeth has a baby daughter named Eleanor and this mom works full time. So the beautiful long hair she used to sport is probably harder to keep up.
Elizabeth Potthast Chopped Off Long Golden Locks
Andrei’s wife said in her latest social media post ” Short hair, don’t care 💖💇🏼♀️” with a few adorable pictures of her new much shorter hair. Her new style is short and sassy just like her. It seems her hair is much lighter in color too than the golden blonde she had before.
It looks like she’s enjoying the freedom of shorter cut as she runs her fingers through her hair in the posts above. While Elizabeth seems to love her new style, there’s still another party not heard from.
What About Andrei?
90 Day Fiance fans know all too well how Elizabeth’s husband takes a very leader-like stand when it comes to their little family. American women don’t usually confer with their husbands before getting a haircut. But according to reports on Moldova, it seems as if this is a very male-dominated country.
According to UN Women, “Persistent patriarchal attitudes limit their educational choices and employment options.” This trickles down to the family unit as men pretty much have the last say within many of the households.

While it surely differs from family to family in Andrei’s native country, it’s not known if Elizabeth’s haircut met with approval or disapproval from her husband. But either way, it appears that Elizabeth already made her own feelings known. She writes “Short hair, don’t Care” as if to say it’s all about what she wants.
90 Day Fiance: Elizabeth Looking and Feeling Good
While the 90 Day Fiance celeb’s hair is shorter today, it still shoulder length. It looks like she has more body and bounce now that she cut her hair to that length.
While Elizabeth’s golden locks looked dramatically long and straight beforehand, she now frames her face with a tasseled and more lively look. Fans of the 90 Day Fiance series chimed in to say they love it.
